We partner with five local schools in Edmonson County to provide accessible, comprehensive healthcare services directly on campus. Our school-based clinics serve students, staff, and their families, offering:
- Primary care: Wellness visits included yearly exams and well-being exams. Physicals such as DOT, school, and sports physicals.
- Acute care: Treatment for acute illnesses like strep throat, flu, and minor injuries.
- Preventive services: Health education focused on injury prevention, healthy habits, and risk reduction.
- Chronic condition management: Monitoring and medication dispensing for conditions such as asthma, ADHD, and seizure disorders.
- Telehealth appointments: Utilizing specialized equipment to conduct remote examinations, reducing the need for off-campus visits. Our providers can hear your heartbeat, see your throat, view your rashes, and see inside your ears. No one has to leave work to bring your child to the doctor.
- Minor symptom relief: Provision of over-the-counter remedies for headaches, allergies, and skin irritations.

We offer vital immunizations.
Our immunization program helps keep patients and the community healthy by providing important vaccines for children and adults. We offer Vaccines for Children, also called VFC, which provide free vaccines to eligible children who may not have insurance or have limited coverage. These vaccines help protect children from serious diseases at no cost to the family.
We also participate in the 317-vaccine program, which helps provide vaccines for eligible adults who are uninsured or underinsured. Both programs help reduce barriers so patients can get the vaccines they need.
Our goal is to make vaccines easy to access, affordable, and available to everyone we serve.
We provide community support.
Community health workers provide support to help individuals access the care and services they need. They help connect patients to healthcare providers, community programs, and local resources that support overall well-being. Community health workers offer patient support and advocacy by helping individuals understand care options and navigate healthcare systems.
They may assist with Medicaid enrollment by explaining eligibility requirements and helping complete application steps. Community health workers can also help patients explore medication assistance programs to support access to prescribed medications. Their role focuses on reducing barriers to care through education, coordination, and community-based support.
Behavioral health is standard health care.
Behavioral health affects how we think, feel, and live each day. Getting support is a normal and healthy step. Behavioral health care is part of whole person care at A Plus Family HealthCare. Our team works closely with your medical providers to support both your mental and physical health, all in one place. Our goal is to provide calm, respectful, and compassionate care so you feel supported every step of the way.
We want your first visit to feel easy.
Your first behavioral health visit is a conversation. We take time to listen, learn about your concerns, and understand how you are feeling. You will talk with a trained provider in a private, supportive setting. Together, you will talk about next steps that feel right for you.
You do not need to be in crisis to seek behavioral health care. Many patients come to talk about everyday challenges.
